Anime is an animation style, a film style, a story telling medium, film genera all its own. We could go on for hours and nearly did! It is often written off by those who misunderstand it and we hope to shed some light on that. In this episode Katie, and her returning guest Juan, discuss their shared enjoyment of the anime style, its creators, characters, art, music, tropes and traditions. They will share some of the ways this film style has influenced their lives for the better, playing a roll in everything from their childhood all the way into their adult lives today.
